This weekend the White House responded to a petition signed by online poker players who live in the US, entitled “We the People”. The petition’s organisers say they didn’t expect any changes to the current laws any time soon; or at least not in direct response to their demands; but say it was important for [...]

A quick post of yesterday’s +7 buy-ins day at $50NL, including some hopefully interesting poker stats. Friday has been the fourth winning day in a row this month playing at micro stakes. I ran at 16bb/100 or 8BB/100, although the W$SD% stat was disappointing at just 46%, hurting my overall W$SD% that is one of [...]

You might remember me playing poker at high stakes, winning $17K pots and losing 30 grand in one day! Those poker days have come and gone. Poker hasn’t been exactly my favorite hobby during the past months, focusing on trading and website development instead. Reasons include Black Friday events and consequences, law changes in many [...]

I have played thousands of poker hands with Randy Lew, also known as Nanonoko at online poker tables. Now Poker Stars will try to increase their popularity and possibly attract even more customers by having Nanonoko attempt to set or break a Guinness World Record at the Caribbean Adventure, PCA in short. Poker Stars have [...]

Surely EPT won’t be brought to us by PokerStars.com! According to several twoplustwo.com posters, EPT Packages for San Remo or Madrid won’t be honored by PokerStars in the end. Replies by pokerstars.eu say that they can’t verify if players who won the EPT packages are actually registered in the poker tournaments, although there was one [...]

It must have been the worst time ever to win an EPT Grand Final Madrid seat right before Black Friday of online poker. My package that includes 7-night accommodation, EUR10,600 buy-in and EUR750 for expenses is already in jeopardy, although PokerStars claim that the money and packages are safe. After last Friday’s events when the [...]

In the 1912, Summer Olympics held in Stockholm Sweden, American George Horine broke the men’s high jump record when he leapt an incredible 2.00m into the air without knocking the bar onto the ground. In 1993, Javier Sotomayor from Cuba broke that record for the 46th time when he leapt 2.45m into the air without [...]

2 years ago I had posted a story about rumours that texas hold’em poker was about to be allowed in Greek casinos, but evidently that was not the case. Now such a development seems more favorable, as popular Greek poker forums claim it is a matter of days until the law is published in the [...]

According to pokertableratings.com, my performance at 100NL tables today was top notch as I won 12BB/100 for almost 7,000 hands. Compared to all players from the most popular poker rooms I managed to make the most and be the top winner at 100NL for the day.
